The M/S Origo was built in 1955 and in 1991 she started her career as passenger ship and has been cruising in the Arctic waters of Svalbard every summer since.
This marvelous piece of maritime history is loved by many. With such a small party on board it it like travelling on a private yacht, and it offers an entirely different experience and perspective to that of a larger and more traditonal vessel.
The Origo carries a maximum of 24 passengers. Is a unique vessel, having been kept to a high standard, and offers a marvellously "old world" charm. The atmosphere on board is ideal for those who enjoy a yacht-like ambience, and the Swedish officers and crew run a professional, yet relaxed and friendly ship.
M.S origo provides comfortable accommodation in cabins twin and superior. All cabins except for the superior cabin have upper and lower berths. The superior cabin and two cabins on the main and lower deck have private bath, all other cabins on lower deck have shared facilities.
